theposts_ orientation 07! part two my blog v1.07.01.07 WHOA. DAY THREE. right where was i. ah - the most fun orientation day. ever. wah really sia. woosh! DAY THREE! okay the day started fine (fastforwarded past the pw and slv talk) with mass dance and junior meet senior (and getting to know the class. and house.), but the games seemed more fun than the previous two days' cos we knew each other alittle better and stuff. besides winning everything. oh then there was this criss cross thing that was daamn tiring and i was breathing so heavily after that i could taste the blood in my lungs. damn scary. thought i was gonna collapse or something cos it lasted until after college tour. then college tour, mass dance (oh and id found the exact same girl id dance friendship with on thursday heh), closing skit and videos were nice and funny SIGH 06HOUSE and it all ended very... nice and warm lar. which i thought was quite nice. oh and as i said the scoring was damn kelong cos i all honesty i think icarus deserved no higher than a fourth but OHWELLS thats life we did pretty well and no one saw it coming. and then after everything we played murderer with irhumba before leaving for suntec. oh that was when things started to get high. * so then at the bus stop was playing mind games with irhumba at the wrong side of the bus stop so when 36 came i couldn't get on it with ijazz so ended up taking 16 with the other icarus crewlets. then throughout the bus ride we were playing mind games at the back of the bus, but ended up playing just one or two only actually because sheena (?) couldn't get then we reached suntec and saw a whole lot of tjcians cos of their mass dance (rarr). and then shannon asked if i wanted to play stupid pranks on them. like when we went to kfc get our food there was this small group lar so the two of us decided to have a loud conversation about our 'mass dance that was happening that night because we'd already booked the fountain with the organisers' HAHA and then they really panicked la! okay ah it was quite mean of us ah not everyone in that group took it lightheartedly and mightve *oops* made some people unhappy (but the girl we were talking to was quite okay with it so phew. haha.) oh and then we repeated it on a few other groups we passed by. err if anything happens, it was shannon's idea okay. HAHA. we tp-ed our food to the atrium btw esplanade and citylink and told stupid jokes along the way. oh then during dinner there was this girl from icarus who recognised me from primary school then oh it was just damn cool la when you recognise someone from a looong time ago and then "WHOAmygoodness you look so different now!" yea that was quite a feeling. then after dinner we played MORE mind games (with sheena) and when shed gotten black magic decided to play less intellectual games instead. then when we were playing that um tsk tsk um tsk i got some forfeit that got me to seduce a girl (who happens to be that same one from primary school) and it was damnn stupid la. it FELT stupid. THANKS ah amelia for saboing me. damn sly. then after that more people came and then retarded things like silent cheers and massdancing happened. so then i rejoined ijazz and then the retardation proceeded for half an hour plus. then people started leaving and we got back to playing games in circles. haha so as the group got smaller and smaller the games got more fun and loud and we started laughing more and more. and then in the end that group of Icarus Assortments more or less settled and we played the um tsk tsk um tsk and then we LAUGHED and LAUGHED and it became daamn funn(ny) and we kept on playing and laughing and laughing and laughing even more until it became unbearably painful and we decided to go on a hiatus cos everyone was in pain WAH seriously that's hands down the hardest and longest ive EVER laughed laa. so in the end the five of us me, shann, ks, theknees and xx decided to stop the game cos it didn't seem like it was gonna end and it was getting very stuffy and we were all super thirsty so we went the toilet (cos 7-11 was closed -.-) to get a drink and moved outside. all exhausted from the laughing we decided to slow down with the games and played dare or dare 7up outside rafflescity. shannon and amelia were damn funny with their forfeits i can totally see why people would wanna complain about vjc seeing the kind of nonsense we do disturbing passersby and stuff haha. so we played until some time near the last train and someone mentioned an impromptu sleepover! DAMN unplanned lar and we discussed until sometime even closer to the last train when we decided to have a stayover at theknees' which was pretty weird cos it was five of us guys and just her alone so we suggested school instead but they were both within close proximity and it was getting late so we rushed to get the bus. * so staying over were the six of us me shann ch david qichao and theknees. we were just in time for the bus and we decided to just stayover at theknees' instead of college cos it was better for her if we did lar. they were showing epl highlights on the bus so the journey didn't seem so long, dropped by 7-11 to get some foodstuffs on the way. (oh and as we found out the next morning when it got brighter) her place is VERY nice the whole area's just. gorgeous or something :) first we watched cars (and david&qc kidna slept through most of it) which was nice but seemed pretty emo and cliched. or to me at least. OH and her house is damn cool cos her lcd tv was connected to her computer (and we were actually watching via her computer) so after that we decided to watch videos online via the huge tv and it was a damn shiok experience ah seeing things in widescreen twice the size. hahha then as we were watching *someone* was drooling and sleptalk for a short while! ohmygoodness DAMN amusing sia sitting next to *that person* haha but anyways were getting tired and hungry so at around four we had supper. after that we played some asshole dd and the social status fer almost all the games were pretty much the same me/shannon/qc were always lower class and theknees/ch/david were pretty much always upper class. tried quite a few times to cheat them but i was the asshole almost all the time THANKS AH SHANNON. hahha then the MAD LAUGHTER started all over again when denise said something about qc when he was the asshole and then ch misheard it, and it turned out something like everytime he spoke he was farting and then we all kept LAUGHING at qc every time he spoke hahahha. it was major suanning arh we kept laughing and laughing at him even when he wasn't the asshole (all thanks to ch actually) until he didnt even dare to say another word :D we were laughing so much we decided not to disturb theknees' mum&brother so we went down to the pavilion and played killer move. it was damn fun lar cos we all slowly started to play like david with his look at the opponent before you change nonsense and our moves started evolving forms and the laughing started all over again. but it was just a matter of time before the residents complained and the guard told us to keep it down. so we just stopped and watched the sunrise from the pavilion :D * so from then on we just talked and talked and talked and talked about things (throughout which we never stopped suanning qc about him and his farting) but it was nice lar cos it was kinda like free for all and got to know some stuff about the others&denise (despite knowing her for almost a year now. ch was asleep pretty much the whole time) and we kinda had a little intellectual discussion along the way too. then slowly we all started to switch off by noon and eventually shann&denise hadta go and we left close to 1. slept throughout the bus ride home
whoa. what a one-and-a-half day it was. actually thinking back i realised how my perception of O1 this year would have been drastically (?) different if i had chosen to go home instead with the bulk of the icarus people after the silent cheers & massdancing and had missed out on the games and stayover with the icarus assortments (haha okay i should stop calling it that). but i didn't and i'm pretty happy i made that decision not to. oh and really hafta thank denise for the stayover :) final day, dinner, stayover and post-stayover. and so was day 3. i remember two years ago exactly what ingole og head hongkin said - that orientation will only be as much fun as you want it to be. i guess ive realised this year how right he was.
