theposts_ azzuris vs les bleus my blog v1.06.07.07 chaos. all the late nights kinda paid off so yes. quite happy lar i guess. and just wanna thank those who came down and the well wishers. thank you. very much. as in really, thank you. and amidst all the chaos stuff there was wc semis and world cup broadcast stuff to do. well the semis turned out just the way i wanted it to be (the two goals were cruel la but who cares anyway) its gonna be an all-blue final (well blue-white technically) but im kinda hoping france wears the home jersey cos they've been getting very lucky with the away one. plus if they do, italy will get to show off their designer-designed jersey. i think its dman cool to have a designer design your soccer jersey. hmm. was wondering if the price of the italian jersey would go up after the world cup cos i was considering getting it, especially if they do win it. gahh but i already bought that dutch away laa (which was worn only once during the infamous dutch-portugese match. hmm i guess there is some value to it then. ahh but i've never had a single blue jersey and this it actually fits my criteria as a jersey worth buying. (the criteria? don't ask. its complex) right. oh but do come down to watch the wc finals in school thank you. today's electives was actually enriching. hahh. so we were supposed to come up with three observations from the world cup and mine were 1) the undeserving losers of some matches. ivory coast - argentina. italy - australia. list goes on. 2) the unpredictability of it. like we thought england, germany and brazil would do well. then when the competition started spain and argentina became favourites. and now its the french. wth. 3) the divers and foul players. oh i didn't have trouble thinking of examples for this one. shevchenko vs tunisia. deco vs holland. henry vs spain. rosso vs australia. henry vs portugal (starting to see a pattern?) and the worst part was that their team won because of the freekicks/penalties they got earned (except maybe deco haha). then mr lim talked about how the winner of the world cup isn't necessarily the best team of the tournament. which made a lot of sense. and then about girls and the world cup. and about oh-everyone's-watching-the-wc-so-i-guess-i-should-too which was quite interesting. and a lot of other things la. heh. okay now on to non-soccer-related stuff. (i'm sorry.) the two morning announcements are finally over. subra you better watch out. and about the BICM, that was meant to be a joke (yes bad joke sorry), nothing hateful.
inv!gorate day 2 was. full of upsets. i guess we played slightly better. but i still say we're being plagued by bad luck. oh and there was some suspense. and some drama. no wait, lots of it. hmm. ~ sometimes we should not think too much. because if you think too much, you're just making life difficult for yourself.
